Transferring Across Different Sections of the Same Course

If a student transfers from one section of a course to another and that results in that student being removed from the classlist of one D2L course shell and added to another, the student's data will not transfer even if the second course is identical to the first. For example, the student's score on Quiz 1 will not transfer into the second course even if there there an identical Quiz 1 in that course. Even though they have the same name, same questions, etc., D2L sees Quiz 1 in the second course as a completely different and unrelated quiz.
