iCal is a software for Mac computers that works as a calendar application. It has the capabilities to add notes to certain dates and act as a schedule to keep one organized. It can also be used with Mail and Address Book for a variety of other functions.

How to Back Up your iCal Schedule/Notes

  1. Open iCal
  2. Go to File > Export
  3. Select Export
  4. Save and name the file in the desired location

How to Get a Previous iCal Schedule Back on to Your Current Computer with iCal

  1. Open iCal
  2. Go to File > Import
  3. Select Import
  4. In the newly opened window find and open your old iCal back up file (should have a .ics file extension)
