What is Microsoft Outlook 365?

Microsoft’s Office 365 service is a hosted version of Microsoft's Office products delivered and accessed over the Internet. Microsoft Outlook 365 is a part of Microsoft Office and provides space for email and personal information management capabilities such as calendars, contact lists and task lists.

Accessing your Outlook 365 Email

You are now able to use your StarID and password to access your mailbox and all other related Microsoft Office 365 resources from any device. That’s right, you will no longer be forced to use an additional Microsoft related password to access your university provided mailbox from a mobile device, email client, or Microsoft Office related application.

  • In light of the change, if you experience an interruption in service related to your Winona State University provided mailbox while using a mobile device, email client, or Microsoft Office related product, we ask that you please try your WSU password. If this does not work then please verify the client has been configured to use your working StarID and password. If you continue to have issues please contact the Technical Support Center at 507.457.5240 or email AskTech@winona.edu.
  • You can verify your StarID and password by accessing your mailbox using our Sky Services website: http://sky.winona.edu
