Multi-monitors means using two or more monitors on a computer for simultaneous use. The most common practice of this is using dual monitors, meaning using two displays. This extends the desktop viewing area and makes multitasking easier. Setting this up is a simple procedure, but the purchase of additional hardware may be necessary. For the WSU PC laptops, this requires a VGA cable to plug into a monitor or TV with a VGA port. An HDMI cable may work too, depending on the screen. For WSU Mac laptops, this may require VGA cable and a Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter. You can contact the TSC for more assistance with this setup.

Technical Support Center does not supply monitors for this use, but the Information Gallery at WSU Library does.
