Why is Winona State Having Students Enroll in AirWatch?
Using AirWatch WSU is able to:
- push paid apps for free to your ipad
- automatically setup your email, contacts, calendars, etc
- track the device if it is lost or stolen - we will not track it at any other time
- remove apps when you are finished with them in class so you will save space on your iPad
- push WSU security settings and block/blacklist known malicious apps
- blacklist apps = only the ones that would infect your device/compromise your device
- WSU has no plan to block the installation of any legitimate apps
