Automator

Automator is an application for the Mac that creates "workflows" or series of actions that your Mac can perform automatically.

Some useful automations have been created in advance for the Mac and may be accessible on some applications such as PowerPoint (2008) or Word under a menu icon that looks like this -->

This program makes use of workflows to do more tasks on a Mac with more efficiency, such as editing 100's of pictures at one time.

Automator is found in your Applications Folder under the Finder or your Dock.
