Project Details

  • MediaSpace will be used for a basic introduction video.
  • Weebly is being used as a e-portfolio for featuring and documenting class projects.
  • Moovly will be used for group project.

What We Will Cover

Introduction Video

For the Introduction Video project you will simply uploaded your recordings to MediaSpace. Directions for uploading your videos can be found at Uploading Video Files to MediaSpace. Once you have uploaded your videos you can post these in a number of places in D2L Brightspace. However, your professor would like you to post your videos to the Assignments Submission forlders and the following link takes you to the directions for do this process.

Team Project

In this project you will be using Moovly to record your animated group videos and upload these videos using the same process as you did for the introduction video with MediaSpace. The Moovly tool is free web based video editing tool that can be accessed by going to https://www.moovly.com and selecting the Login/Sign up for free button. Once you have an account you can learn how the tool work by viewing the following introduction to Moovly.

















Weebly Video

Weebly is a web authoring tool that allow you to create a dynamic web site for your projects.  Directions for creating accounts and utilizing both of these tools are found below.  




Creating a Weebly Account

In this video you will learn how to create your Weebly account, select a theme, and launch the Weebly editor. Or you can simply go to Weebly.com site to create your free Weebly account.







Using the Weebly Editor

Next, in the Beginner's Guild to Weebly (i.e. below) you will learn how to use the Weebly Editor to build your web site, adding links to documents, changing themes, connect to other artifacts, and publishing your site.
