Overview
Professor Wysocki created the "Identifying Funds of Knowledge" project to identify and learn more about the ASSETS, STRENGTHS, AND RESOURCES that learners possess in their lives, households, and communities who are Funds of Knowledge. The following resource provides links to resources that you should feel free to use to complete this assignment. Please refer to the Identifying Funds of Knowledge Guidelines - Nicholas Wysocki as you work to complete this project.
• Concept and relationship visualization - Students will be provided with tutorials to both new graphics tools as well as tools that they may already be familiar with, for example, Smart Art templates available in Office 365 applications, Prezi, and Inspiration.
• Students will develop a graphic display of a potential Funds of Knowledge investigations strategy (or strategies) they could use in their own classes to connect learners’ assets, strengths, and resources to specific academic content areas they will be teaching.
