Overview

Professor Wysocki created the identifying Funds of Knowledge project to learn more about the ASSETS, STRENGTHS, AND RESOURCES that learners possess in their lives, households, and communities. This assignment and the following resource is designed to address two key areas:

• Concept and relationship visualization - Students will be provided with tutorials to both new graphics tools as well as tools that they may already be familiar with, for example, SmartArt graphics templates available in Office 365 applications, Prezi, and Inspiration.

• Students will develop a graphic display of a potential Funds of Knowledge investigations strategy (or strategies) they could use in their own classes to connect learners’ assets, strengths, and resources to specific academic content areas they will be teaching.

  • Qualtrics For your questionnaire and or surveys.
  • Hypothesis (see https://web.Hypothes.is) is an extension tool for your Internet browser that allows you to annotate over primary and secondary analysis or your cultural artifact analysis.
