Marketing: Consumer Behavior

Outline of Project

  • Qualitative Research Project Overview
  • Documentary on aspects of consumer behavior - alcohol consumption on college campus
  • 2 teaching assistants - Christi and Gina
  • All students will use same type of camera = Flip Video Camcorder
  • Counseling Center = Client
  • Students will film video and audio - 10/15 min film on alcohol consumption on college campus
    • On site (bars) with interviews of students and alumni
  • Students will need to hand in raw data on dvd
  • Students will also need to present movie to class
  • Project due in March

  • iMovie (Mac)
  • MovieMaker (PC)

  • Downloading and saving raw data to DVD first
  • Importing data into software
  • Converting data if using MovieMaker2
    • mp4 needs to be converted to .wmv before it can be imported to MM2
  • Raw data can be used in iMovie as is (mp4)
