Enrolling people in Brightspace courses manually
Intended Audience
WSU instructors using Brightspace or those interested in using Brightspace in the future.
Adding Teachers to Courses
Teachers must be added to courses using the Term Course Form and processing it through the registrar's office.
Adding Teaching Assistants and Grading Assistants
You can add TA's and GA's to any of your semester-based programs. There are instructions for adding TA's and GA's at Adding TAs and GAs to Brightspace courses.
If you need to add TA's and GA's to a sandbox course, contact TLT at TLT@winona.edu. Include the course name, course ID, TA/GA names, and the desired role for each person being added.
Note:
- Teaching Assistants (TA's) have access to course calendar, checklist, classlist, conditional release, content, discussions, assignments, email, groups, home pages, import/export/copy of components, locker, LOR, news, quizzes, and surveys.
- Grading Assistants (GA's) have access to content, discussions, dropbox, email, and grades.
Adding Students
Students can only be added to the course by registering for the course with the registrar.
