Overview

Inspiration is a software application that allows users to create a wide variety of flow charts, concept maps, and other diagrams illustrating the connections among a set of elements.

Version

WSU is currently offering Version 9.0 of this application. There is a PC and Mac version of the tool and can be accessed via the Control Panel or WSU Additions.

Getting Started

Who Uses This?

  • Dr. Kim Bates' BIOL 445 Immunology students use Inspiration to construct a personal mind map of all of the concepts and ideas they encounter in the course throughout the entire semester. Students then present their maps at the end of the term.
  • Dr. Fran Ragsdale's BIOL 440 Clinical Physiology
