LAME MP3 Encoder

LAME is a software codec designed to encode audio data in the MP3 format. Be sure to have Audacity installed. You can download Audacity at http://audacityteam.org before starting this tutorial.

How to Install LAME MP3 Encoder on MAC

2. Open Audacity from the Applications Folder.

3. Then go to http://lame.buanzo.org/#lameosxdl to download lame for MAC OSX. Click Lame_Library_v3.98.2_for_Audacity_on_OSX.dmg

4. Once downloaded, double-click the Lame_Library_v3.98.2_for_Audacity_on_OSX.dmg in the downloaded folder.

5. A pop up will appear and double-click "Lame Library v3.98.2 for Audacity.pkg"

6. On the pop-up window, click open.

7. The installer will pop-up, click continue.

9. Select "MacBook Air 2015"

10. Then select "Choose Folder..."
