Here are instructions for saving your PowerPoint posters or files to PDF on a Mac.
1. In Power Point:
2. Page Setup Dialog Box
- Settings: Page Attributes
- Format for: Any Printer
- Paper Size: Manage Custom Sizes
- Orientation: Which is appropriate
- Scale: 100%
3. Create a Custom Page Size
- Click the + button
- Page size should match the final size of the printed poster
- Printer margins should be set to 0
- Click OK
4. Save as PDF
- Check the box "Scale to fit Paper"
- Click on PDF and save as a PDF document
- Click Print
Alternative Process of Saving PowerPoint Slides as a PDF on a Mac
Option One
1. Make sure that your PowerPoint slide has the correct dimensions through Page Setup.
2. Right click and copy your entire slide in the left scrolling area.
3. Open Preview.
4. Go to File, then New From Clipboard.
5. Go to file again and save your slide as a PDF.
Option Two
1. Make sure that your PowerPoint slide has the correct dimensions through Page Setup.
2. Go to File, then Save as
3. Under Format menu select PDF
