About this article

Network and cloud storage is backed up nightly, so it the recommended place to store your work and school files. Students only have access to OneDrive for Business. For employees it is important to understand the differences between network storage and cloud storage.

Cloud Storage (OneDrive for Business)

WSU uses OneDrive for Business for cloud storage. The use of other cloud storage services is not recommended for work files. All employees and students have access to 1 TB of storage in OneDrive for Business. Learn more about OneDrive for Business.

Network Storage

Network storage is on the WSU network and is referred to as Personal or Department storage. This storage is only for employees. This is a great place to store your work documents and you can store confidential data here.
