About This Article

This article reviews the purpose of the MnSCU StarID, describes how Winona State uses it, and provides links to related information. It is primarily intended for students, faculty and staff who need to access MnSCU network resources using their MnSCU versus WSU credentials (i.e. Tech ID) or Statewide Employee Management System (i.e. SEMA4) used to access the human resource and benefits systems. What's a StarID?

Your MnSCU StarID is a unique username and password that you use to login to MnSCU and WSU network resources. Every WSU student,faculty and staff member need to know their MnSCU StarID.

Many MnSCU services are accessible directly from the WSU eHome page.

Activating Your StarID

All MnSCU faculty and staff already have a StarID, but it needs to be activated before it can be used. To activate your StarID you can go here. Also, please note the following resources for the StarID.
