Overview

This article provides step by step directions for uploading video to MediaSpace and embedding video into D2L. This article is split into two separate sections.

Steps For Uploading Video into Kaltura MediaSpace

Follow the steps below to upload a video into your MediaSpace

Upload Media

1. Go to http://mediaspace.mnscu.edu

2. Login in with your Star ID and password

3. In the upper right corner of your MediaSpace you will see your name and an "Add New"button. Select the "Media Upload"option from the drop-down.

4. Next select the blue button labeled "Choose a file to upload". You will be prompted to select your video from your computer.

5. Once you have selected your video it will begin to upload. At the top of the screen you can see the progress of the upload. This bar will turn green when the upload is complete. This may take a few minutes depending on the size of the media.

6. Once your video is uploaded at the bottom of the page you will then: 

         A. Check the Unlisted option
         B. Select Save
         C. Select "Go To Media"
