Calendar shows the current date when displayed as an icon

Calendar is a built in software for Mac computers that works as a calendar application. If you are familiar with Mac computers of the late 2000s, you may know this program as iCal, but it has since been renamed to simply Calendar. It has the capabilities to add notes to certain dates and act as a schedule to keep one organized. It can also be used with Mail and Address Book for a variety of other functions.

How to Back Up your Calendar Schedule/Notes

  1. Open Calendar
  2. Go to File > Export
  3. Select Export
  4. Save and name the file in the desired location

How to Get a Previous Calendar Schedule Back on to Your Current Computer with Calendar

  1. Open Calendar
  2. Go to File > Import
  3. Select Import
  4. In the newly opened window find and open your old Calendar back up file (should have a .ics file extension)
