Laptop Pickup: Can a parent or friend of the WSU student pick up the student’s laptop for them?

It is the students responsibility to pick up his/her laptop.

One of the most important aspects of our program is providing a very stable networking software environment. The laptop is set up individually on our network using the very latest security features. To ensure that security is not compromised, individual users must be responsible for their own laptop computers, and the initial setup of the computer is vital to this security. Important information is also displayed that has to do with the contract and appropriate computing at WSU.

What if I need to check my WSU email could I use my friend's/classmate laptop?

Since all WSU laptops are personalized it will only allow student assigned with the laptop to access his/her emails.
