For instructors, program and department chairs, Deans, and academic administrators, the Brightspace Competencies Tool includes all the features and functions needed to implement a hierarchical structure that includes competencies, learning objectives, and activities. The competency structure can be set at the level of the course, the department, the college, or the university. As students complete aligned activities in their Brightspace courses, competency results are updated. Manually graded activities not associated with a specific course can also be included.
