Mac Installation of ALEKS

Mac users will need to install a Java plug-in to run ALEKS. The steps to install this are detailed below.

Step 1. Go to the ALEKS web site and log-in or click on the install free trial version link.

Step 2. Once you begin the download process you will see the following screen come up and you will need to click on the Inactive Plug-in link circled in red.

Step 3. You will need to restart your browser and the application will launch with course offering. Depending on your security setting you may be asked (see clip below) to allow the applet signature from ALEKS to be used. You will need need to allow this to load in order to use the software.
