Overview
Microsoft Edge is the successor to Microsoft Internet Explorer. Edge is much more lightweight than Internet Explorer so users can expect better performance when browsing webpages. Microsoft Edge also runs much more efficiently than Internet Explorer which results in much better battery life for laptop users. Some web applications may not yet support Edge so if you are experiencing compatibility issues while using Edge you should revert back to Internet Explorer or Google Chrome while while using that application.
