Redeem iTunes Gift Codes on iPad

iTunes gift codes can be used to purchase apps, music, or video on iPad. If you have an iTunes gift card the gift code will be located on the back of the gift card.
To redeem a gift code or card:
- Open the App Store.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Featured page and press Redeem.
- Enter your gift code into the text box that appears. Remember if you have a gift card this will be the code on the back.
- When done press redeem.
- You may be asked to sign in to your Apple ID.
- Once the process is complete you will see a thank you message.
- Each time you make a purchase on the App Store or iTunes the amount of the purchase will be deducted from the credit you have from entering the gift code.
To view your available credit balance:
- Open the App Store.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Featured page and press the button with your Apple ID on it.
- On the pop-up that appears press View Apple ID.
- Your credit balance will be located above your account information.
