System Preferences is a tool for Mac users to change their computer's default settings. It is similar to Control Panel on a Windows PC. This can mean battery settings, resolution, profile settings, device management, and other personalizing features.
How to Access System Preferences
- If you haven't changed your dock, by default there should be a System Preferences icon (looks like a gearbox). Click on it.
- Another way to access System Preferences is by clicking on the top left Apple icon and selecting the System Preferences option from there.
