Talk:Flipped teaching

This description oversimplifies what today's college students experience, both inside and outside the classroom. Class time is often a mixture of passive listening and active participation and students spend time outside of class studying passively, as well as engaging with other students on projects and homework. Some college courses have always been "flipped" (e.g., labs, seminars) and instructors have been asking students to read their books before class for decades.
