Instructors teaching fully in-person, blended, or mostly online courses this fall will might consider including a syllabus statement with instructions for students who identify as vulnerable and need additional safeguards.

COVID Vulnerable Student Statement

The following process applies to students who have been diagnosed with an immunocompromised (weakened immune system) disorder. Students who will be on-campus for fall 2021 but have concerns about their medically related risk factor(s) and feel the need to seek adjustments should complete the below steps. Contact Gale Lanning, Associate Director of Access Services, with any questions.

  1. Complete the online Access Services Registration Form. Students should use their personal StarID followed by "@winona.edu" to log in.
  2. Schedule a Welcome Meeting with Access Services to identify disability-related barriers and appropriate access solutions.
  3. Submit Supporting Documentation (PDF) with registration form or bring to the welcome meeting.
