PC:

How do I install apps through Company Portal?  

  1. Open Company Portal by going to the Start Menu and then select All Apps.  
  2. Once Company Portal is open apps will appear on the home screen.  
  3. Click the app you wish to install and then select Install.  
  4. A "Download Pending" message will appear with a progress bar.  
  5. Once the progress bar disappears the app is finished installing.  
  6. If you would like to install another app select the back arrow in the top left corner.  
  7. If an app you need is not on the home page select the bulleted list icon on the left menu bar. This will show you all available apps.  
  8. Click the apps you want to download and select install.  
  9. Once all your installations are complete the apps will appear under All Apps.  

What else can I find in Company Portal?  

  1. Under the download icon on the left menu bar there will be available updates to certain apps.  
  2. You cannot change your password through Company Portal. The link provided will not work.  

What if Company Portal doesn't show up?  

  1. Open the Start Menu.  
  2. Type in Company Portal.  
  3. An option to open the Microsoft Store should appear.  
  4. Open the Microsoft Store and select the "Get" button in the top right.  
  5. The installation should start.  
  6. Once this is complete open Company Portal and log in with your starid@go.minnstate.edu and starid password.  

Macbooks:

At this time Macs will still install programs through Managed Software Center.
