How do I install apps through Company Portal?
- Open Company Portal by going to the Start Menu and then select All Apps.
- Once Company Portal is open apps will appear on the home screen.
- Click the app you wish to install and then select Install.
- A "Download Pending" message will appear with a progress bar.
- Once the progress bar disappears the app is finished installing.
- If you would like to install another app select the back arrow in the top left corner.
- If an app you need is not on the home page select the bulleted list icon on the left menu bar. This will show you all available apps.
- Click the apps you want to download and select install.
- Once all your installations are complete the apps will appear under All Apps.
What else can I find in Company Portal?
- Under the download icon on the left menu bar there will be available updates to certain apps.
- You cannot change your password through Company Portal. The link provided will not work.
What if Company Portal doesn't show up?
- Open the Start Menu.
- Type in Company Portal.
- An option to open the Microsoft Store should appear.
- Open the Microsoft Store and select the "Get" button in the top right.
- The installation should start.
- Once this is complete open Company Portal and log in with your starid@go.minnstate.edu and starid password.
Macbooks:
At this time Macs will still install programs through Managed Software Center.
