• 06-17-2021: D2L Brightspace Upgraded to 20.21.06 Evaluated rubrics can be detached and the order of criterion groups can be changed. Copy of outgoing email message saved to Sent Mail automatically. See student and faculty release notes for more information.
• 05-24-2021: Mac Users: WSU is now ready for macOS Big Sur. You can update to macOS Big Sur from the Mac App Store, from the System Preferences Software Update pane, or you can contact Tech Support for assistance running the update. If you would like to erase and reset your WSU Mac before installing Big Sur, please visit Tech Support.
• 05-20-2021: D2L Brightspace Upgraded to 20.21.05 Delete a rubric criterion row and the new copy a criterion row commands now appear under the ellipsis next to the criterion name. Teachers can now print rubrics from Preview. Students can also print blank and evaluated rubrics. See student and faculty release notes for more information.
• 04-30-2021: Zoom Client Minor Update to 5.6.5 - This is a minor bugfix update for the Windows client. Review the release notes and instructions for updating your Zoom client.
• 04-26-2021: Zoom Client Minor Update to 5.6.4 - This is a minor feature and bugfix update. New Immersive View option allows hosts to arrange video images on a custom background. Review the release notes and instructions for updating your Zoom client.
• 04-19-2021: Zoom Client Minor Update to 5.6.3 - This is a minor feature and bugfix update. New vanishing pen feature, improved quality of system sound while sharing, expanded emojis for reactions. Review the release notes and instructions for updating your Zoom client.
• 05-20-2021: D2L Brightspace Upgraded to 20.21.04 Improvements to the persistent accommodation feature in Quizzes, Classlist, and User Progress; URL links in content no open a new window by default. See student and faculty release notes for more information.
• 03-29-2021: Zoom Client Minor Update to 5.6.1 - This is a minor bugfix update. Review the release notes and instructions for updating your Zoom client.
• 03-23-2021: Zoom Client Update to 5.6.0 - In addition to bug fixes, this release allows hosts to restrict session access to those signed in to Zoom using their StarID credentials. Users can also share the clipboard in remote control. Review the release notes and instructions for updating your Zoom client.
• 03-18-2021: D2L Brightspace Upgraded to 20.21.03 When copied, individual Assignment folders and individual Quizzes are hidden from students by default. The Brightspace Pulse mobile app sends push notifications to students two days before the due date or end date for upcoming quizzes and assignment folders. • 02-18-2021: D2L Brightspace Upgraded to 20.21.02 - Student use of Brightspace Pulse to access courses now counts in various reports (e.g., Class Progress, Classlist), instructors can now assign quiz accommodations that apply to all quizzes automatically.
