When you use Zoom on your computer, phone, or tablet to either host or participate in a meeting, a Zoom application launches on your device. You can open the Zoom application to access a host of features and functions, even when you are not in a meeting. Use the Zoom application to install updates, adjust your settings, schedule meetings, join meetings, chat with other Zoom users, access Zoom phone services, and more.

How does the Zoom application get installed?

The Zoom application gets installed on your device automatically the first time you use that device to attend a Zoom meeting session. You may be prompted to install the application and adjust device settings prior to gaining access to the meeting.
